As well as some incredible local wildlife, we also have some wonderful walking and cycling routes. Click on the previous links to find out more.
Find the village
If you are visiting from the South take the A33 towards Basingstoke. Continue out of Kings Worthy and on until you get to the dual carriageway. On the dual carriageway take the first right towards Northington and the Candovers. Continue for approximately 2 miles and at the crossroads turn left for East Stratton. If you are visiting from the North take the A33 towards Winchester. After the second section of dual carriageway take the next left signposted East Stratton and also the Northbrook Arms. You can also take this route if travelling Northbound if you remain on the A33 a little longer.
Parking in the village
There are a number of places you can park when visiting the village. Although parking is allowed on the main road (Stratton Lane) it is essential that you ensure that at any given time you do not park in a way that will block the road. Both emergency vehicles and large farm vehicles require access at all times. This is especially important if you are leaving your car for a significant period of time. Off road parking is available at theĀ Northbrook Arms pub to the back of the site. Please note that the area in front of the pub (roadside) by the beer garden / village green is not an official parking area.
If you are organising a specific event and require parking for groups of people, then the Village Hall can also be used for off-road by pre-booking only. Please contact the village hall for details and availability, please be aware that small charges may apply.
